TRAFFIC STOP
August 11, 1:28 pm. Ofc. A.L. Gibson made a traffic stop on S. Dorset Rd. A subject was arrested, and transported to Miami County Jail
August 17, 12:16 am. Ptl. J Beaty conducted a traffic stop on Horsham Rd at S
Dorset Rd. Operator of vehicle received citation for DUS.
JUNK VEHICLE COMPLAINT
August 11, 8:10 pm. Ptl. Morgan. Car abandoned, no answer at the door, plates fictitious and expired. The vehicle was towed, put on hold, and a report was taken.
THEFT
August 13, 4:22 am. Ofc. A McKown was Dispatched to the Royal Inn on a theft report. The male subject was later arrested for theft and incarcerated in the Miami County Jail.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE / MISCHIEF
August 14, 11 am. Ofc. T.R. Weaver was dispatched to Hemms Glass in reference to a criminal damaging complaint. Deodorant is used to mark a vehicle. No damage, and was found to be a criminal mischief complaint. Weaver will attempt contact with the suspect.
RECOVERED STOLEN PROPERTY
August 14, 1:38 pm. Ptl, Z.T. Hook was dispatched to the area of 731 W. Market St. (Kroger) in reference to a stolen vehicle parked in the parking lot. The vehicle was located in the True Value parking lot. The vehicle was removed from LEADS, and the owner arrived on the scene to take possession of the vehicle.
