MIAMI COUNTY – Kenneth Welbaum (37), a Miami County corrections officer, was arrested Wednesday following an investigation of off-duty allegations related to child sex crimes.
He has been placed on administrative leave while the investigation continues. The Miami County Sheriff’s Office is working with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation regarding this matter.
Welbaum is currently being held in the Shelby County Jail. More information will be updated once the investigation is complete.
