The City of Piqua Accepts Applications for Special Committee.
The City of Piqua announced today that it is accepting applications for the Commissioners Committee on the Fire Training Facility.
This advisory committee is a special committee established at the City Commission meeting on February 6, 2024, for the purpose of creating a report detailing the events from 2017 to 2023 that took place at the Fire Training Facility and to make recommendations, if necessary, to the City Commission.
The City Commission will appoint five (5) individuals who are residents of the City of Piqua who are not currently nor were an employee of the City of Piqua between 2017 and 2023. The committee will determine the frequency and quantity of its meetings, which will be open to the public.
