KENTON—The Tri-Village Powerlifting Team participated in the 35th Annual Ohio High School State Powerlifting Championships on Saturday March 18, 2023 at Kenton HS. There were close to 600 lifters and 37 different schools represented.
The Boys team placed 8th out of 37 teams and the Girls team placed 6th out of 25 teams. There were 5 lifters from TV that medaled. Boys: Mavin Robinson placed 12th in the 135lb. class, Shaun Crawford placed 9th in the 145lb. class. Girls: Macy Howell placed 4th in the 155lb. class, Kaylee Rich-Welch placed 3rd in the 175lb. class and Loryn Metzcar placed 2nd in the Unlimited class “STATE RUNNER-UP”.
