GREENVILLE – The Blue Angels 4-H club had a meeting on Monday, the 30th. It was held at Faith Baptist Church in Greenville. Pledges were led by Katelyn Yoder, vice president of the Blue Angels. During the meeting, the club thoroughly made sure all members were prepared for county judging.
Following this, Brilee Cole presented an insightful safety report, focusing on mental health topics. The meeting also included presentations from three club members, Aliva Addis, Even Addis, and Colten Weimer, who served as camp counselors at this year’s 4-H camp.
They shared their experiences and some of the most exciting things they did. They also strongly recommended that anyone considering going should do so. Before the meeting concluded, Even Addis, the club’s treasurer, talked about his 4-H-funded trip to Washington, DC. After the meeting was adjourned, refreshments were served. The younger members, known as the Cloverbuds, then worked on their projects.
Following refreshments, the club showed its gratitude for the church by cleaning it.
The next meeting will be held at Faith Baptist Church on July 9th from 6-8:30 pm. This upcoming meeting will be dedicated to the older members to show and present their projects to the entire club.
