GREENVILLE – Beat the heat this summer and bring your adventures indoors with Greenville Public Library’s July Movie Matinees!
On Thursday, July 17, at 1 p.m., we’ll be showing the 1988 (almost) cult classic, The Great Outdoors. This family comedy features the talents of the late John Candy and Dan Aykroyd as brothers-in-law with very different approaches to a relaxing fishing weekend. This film is rated PG with a run time of 1 hour and 31 minutes. Patrons are invited to bring their favorite movie snacks and drinks to this free event. A jacket or sweater is recommended for anyone who finds themselves easily chilled.
The following week, on July 24, we’ll be hosting a movie just for teens. Beginning at 1 p.m., we’ll be showing the 2022 action adventure, Uncharted, starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg. This movie is rated PG-13 with a run time of 1 hour 56 minutes. Snacks will be provided.
