GREENVILLE—We are often asked the question; Will you be getting more in? So, I would like to offer the following for your consideration.

It is our desire to have a good variety of products, with a sufficient amount available for each of our valued customers’.

We raise most of the plants we offer from seed or small seedlings that we buy in early in the spring, the amount of any certain plant we grow is determined by an educated guess, we keep notes from year to year of what we have sold the in the previous years and those notes are generally what we use to determine the amount of each item that we need to plant.

So the answer to the question of “Will you be getting more in?’” is; we try to plant sufficient amounts of each item to sell with the hope that we will sell most of them and not need to buy more plants in.

We do not use growth regulators on our plants, so the plants you purchase from us should continue to grow after they are planted and get established.

Timing is also a determining factor, we try to have our plants ready for warm weather, but not so early that we would need to resort to using plant growth regulators to extend the shelf life of our products. Plants treated with plant growth regulators generally take longer to start growing for the consumer, this can be somewhere between 3 to 4 weeks depending on when the plants were treated before being sold to the customer.

We also try to keep up with new and improved varieties with an eye on plants that will perform well for our customers needs. From time to time the seed companies will phase out an old variety which we try to replace with a similar variety. This year we are trialing the Super Hero Yellow, and Super Hero Orange Marigolds, we are looking for a good replacement for the Orange Boy and Yellow Boy Marigolds as this seed is getting harder to find.

We hope that you have a good experience with the products you purchase from us, and May God Bless each of You.
