PREBLE COUNTY – A College Corner, Ohio man has been arrested and formally charged after a short-term drug investigation into suspected drug trafficking. The investigation began after the Sheriff’s Office received citizen complaints in the area.
On March 6, 2026, investigators arrived at 115 Eaton Street in College Corner, Ohio to secure the residence for a search warrant. Investigators encountered Christopher Gene Meyer (47), who resides in the residence. Meyer granted consent to search his residence and his vehicle.
Investigators from the Sheriff’s Office and the Preble County Prosecutor’s Office recovered multiple drug trafficking – related items, as well as approximately 240 grams of suspected methamphetamine and approximately 47 grams of suspected Fentanyl.
Meyer, of the above address, was arrested and has been formally charged in Eaton Municipal Court with the following offenses: Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs, a 1st Degree Felony; Trafficking in a Fentanyl-Related Compound, a 1st Degree Felony; Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a 1st Degree Felony; Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound, a 1st Degree Felony; and Illegal Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a 4th Degree Misdemeanor.
Meyer remains in the Preble County Jail.
