CUSTODY

Feb. 13, 7:15 a.m.:Civil dispute regarding child custody in the 900 block of W. High St. Complainant advised her child’s father was refusing to open the door so she could pick up her son for school. Spoke with father and advised him he needed to seek custody through civil court and must return the child. Child was returned without incident.

PROPERTY

Feb. 13, 9:11 a.m.:Caller advised she had potentially lost her purse and was calling to see if it had been turned in. After reviewing recent reports, police advised her it had not been turned in.

ACCIDENT WITH INJURY

Feb. 13, 10:31 a.m.: Driver hit a pedestrian in the crosswalk near N. Main St and E. Greene St. Driver was cited accordingly.

TRASH/DUMPING

Feb. 13, 10:39 a.m.: Caller from Miami Valley Renovations advised another business was using their dumpster to throw away their trash. Investigation pending.

DRUGS

Feb. 13, 11:06 a.m.: Officer dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Walnut St. for a subject suffering from opiate withdraws. This subject was transported to the hospital and arrested on an unrelated warrant.

WELFARE CHECK

Feb. 13, 2:33 p.m.: Complainant requested a welfare check on their mother, whom lived with her sister in the 400 block of Wood St. Officer responded and found everything to be in order. Complainant advised she wanted her mother to live with her, but another family member had power of attorney over their mother. Complainant was directed to the court system for further assistance.
