CELINA— Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey reported the arrest of three individuals on drug related charges during a HIT Operation (Heroin Interdiction Team), on Thursday, January 12.
The HIT Team is made up of members of the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office and the Celina Police Department. St. Henry Police Department also assisted.
The HIT Team made six traffic stops, issued five written warnings, and two traffic citations.
The following people were also taken into custody on drug related charges:
Katie N. Schlarman, 31, of Celina, was arrested for Possession of a Drug Abuse Instrument a Misdemeanor of the First Degree.
Darryl H. Mann, 62, of Celina, was arrested for Possession of Drugs and Felony of the Fifth Degree.
Tyler M. Franklin, 22, of Celina, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine a Felony of the Fifth Degree.
All were incarcerated at the Mercer County Adult Detention Facility. The cases were forwarded to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office for review and filing of formal charges.
