GREENVILLE – The Lady Wave golf team defeated the Russia Lady Raiders 209-213 in a non-conference match at Greenville’s Turtle Creek Golf Course.
Taylor Trissel paced the Lady Wave with a 49; Vera Cox shot a 50, Sofia Chrisman had a 52, and Reese Addington carded a 58. Also playing for the Lady Wave were Callee Moore with a 64 and Ava Good with a 75.
“We did not have our A game today but managed to get the win,” said Greenville coach Tracy Haines. “Taylor and Reese really helped with the win today.”
Playing for the Lady Raiders were Aubrey Hoying with a 50, Anni Borchers with a 52, Josie Bergman with a 55 and Grace Poeppelman with a 56. Also playing for Russia were Grace Monnin with a 57 and Evie Rhoades with a 62.
The Lady Wave golf team improves to 4-6 overall and 2-2 in conference play.”
