DARKE COUNTY – On Monday at approximately 9:24 PM Darke County Deputies along with Tri-Village Rescue, New Madison Fire and MedFlight were dispatched to the intersection of Richmond Palestine Road and Mills Road in ref. To motorcycle crash with injuries.
Preliminary investigation revealed a black 2007 Suzuki Boulevard driven by Joseph Harper (23) of Bolivar, Ohio was traveling West on Mills Road near Richmond Palestine Road. Harper was unable to stop for a posted stop sign traveling through the intersection and overturning. He and his passenger Fatih Majkowski (21) of Maine were ejected from the motorcycle.
Harper was treated and released at the scene by Tri-Village Rescue. Majkowski was treated at the scene by Tri-Village Rescue and was transported to Kettering Health by MedFlight with non-life-threatening injuries. Harper and Majkowski were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
