VERSAILLES -The Lady Wave golf team traveled to Stillwater Golf Course to play the Russia Lady Raiders, with the Lady Wave winning the non-league match 202-216.
“I am very happy with how the girls played today,” said Greenville coach Tracy Haines.
Vera Cox led the Lady Wave with a 40, Lyla Brinley with a 42. Reese Addington, Payton Fourman, and Addy Arnett all finished with a 55. Arnett had a personal best of 55.
The Junior Varsity team also played, winning their match by a score of 243-272. The JV team was led by Kennedy Schoen with a 56, Erin Winner with a 57, Maria Plessinger with a 63, and Ayla Weyant with a 67. Winner had a personal best of 57.
“This was the final regular match of the season,” Coach Haines noted. “Next week we have the MVL tournament and Sectionals.”
The Greenville Lady Wave finished the season 10-2 overall and 5-1 in conference play.
