GREENVILLE – The Greenville Lady Wave basketball program hosted its 2025 girls’ basketball camp for students in grades 3 through 8. The three-day camp took place with two days at the K-8 gym and one day at the Greenville Senior High School gym.
“We are all excited about what we will be doing,” said Greenville eighth-grade coach Jeff Martin. “We have already been implementing terminology to teach them before high school. We’ve had six middle school practices in the last two weeks. This week, we will have three days of camp, one practice, and a shootout here at the middle school with Russia and Ansonia. We’re having a good start to our summer workouts, it’s just like always.”
The young Lady Wave athletes learned the basic skills of basketball, including both offensive and defensive aspects.
The Lady Wave High School basketball players assisted the Greenville coaching staff.
