Great Darke County Fair Dog Arena receives dog carving named JJ

GREENVILLE – The Great Darke County Fair’s new Dog Arena received a permanent fixture with a Laura Ahrens donation of JJ, a dog woodcarving that was carved by woodcarvers on the grounds of the 2024 Great Darke County Fair and purchased by Ahrens.

“Wipe Your Paws,” a surprise was unwrapped on Friday, the opening day of the 2025 fair, by 4-H Dog Department members and named JJ by the members.
