GREENVILLE – Ava Gosnell, an Ansonia High School junior, won the Herman Spille High Point Award for Darke County Youth at the Great Darke County Fair in the Sunday event while riding her horse Tommy.
“I am happy to have the opportunity to show every year, where there is an open show where people can come, even if they are not in 4-H, to show,” said Gosnell.
Gosnell is a member of the Buckeye Buckaroos 4-H Club.
“It is year-round, countless hours,” Gosnell added. “I ride both of my horses three or four times a week to get prepared for this event.”
