Former Wright State University Lake Campus coach and recruiting coordinator Montaous Walton is reportedly in heavy Discussions with schools from the Midwest, including Ohio, Minnesota, Iowa, and Indiana, even drawing interest from a couple of Southern schools. Walton is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and expressed interest before returning home to the Midwest, close to his family, to win a championship like he did in the South.
Walton is arguably considered one of the best and most aggressive recruiters in college baseball after spending time in the south at Division I Mississippi Valley State University, winning a conference championship and making a 2023 World Series appearance at Rust College. Walton is a hot commodity with a strong work ethic and drive to win.
