Emmett Aloysius Grillot, 68 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday November
22, 2022 at 4:25 AM at Ayden Healthcare, Greenville, Ohio.
Emmett was born May 4, 1954 in Greenville, Ohio, the son of the late Stanley B. and Juanita Marie (Varvel) Grillot Sr. Emmett retired from the National Guard in 1997 after 20 years of service.
Emmett was a member of the American Legion, VFW, Darke County Horseshoe Club, he enjoyed building miniature models of houses and cars; he loved to cook and was a nice person who always helped people out.
Emmett is preceded in death by his parents.
Emmett is survived by his son, Samuel; his brothers and sisters, Stanley Grillot Jr., Bernard and Diane Grillot, Bonnie Van Hout, Velma Brickler, Chris Grillot, and Bridget Dardin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday November 29, 2022 at 6:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dayton National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Resurrection Community Center.
