EATON – Eaton’s varsity volleyball team took top honors in the Southwestern Buckeye League West Division with an 11-2 league record, 19-6 overall. The Eagles edged out Valley View (10-3, 15-10) for the top spot in the standings.
Eaton was led by SWBL West Division Player of the Year Olivia Baumann. The Eaton senior led the SWBL with more than 400 kills in her final season. Baumann finished her outstanding career at Eaton with 1,274 total kills (swblsports.com).
Baumann was also named District 15 D2 Player of the Year and First Team selection, along with All-Ohio OHSVCA Second Team.
