Darke County Veterans Services host Veteran Benefits Seminar

ANSONIA – The Darke County Veterans Services hosted a Veterans Benefits Seminar including a free steak dinner for Veterans, spouses, and windows of Veterans attending the seminar held at Ansonia American Legion Post 353.

“We appreciate all the Veterans who came out to learn about the VA benefits and the county benefits that are provided by our office, Darke County Veteran Services,” said DCVS Director/CVSO Veterans Service Officer, Tom Pitman.

Nearly 100 steak dinners were prepared by the Ansonia Legion for attending guests.

“It is always great to get out and meet new Veterans and reconnect with those we have met in the past at events like this,” Pitman stated.

The seminar was presented by Thomas Pitman, Director/CVSO Veterans Service Officer, and Var Gehron, Veterans Service Office. Also attending was Darke County Veterans Services Commissioners, Chris Rehmert, Scott Riffle, Jennifer Anthony, Jim Kammer, and Gaylen Blosser.
