GREENVILLE—The Darke County Board of Commissioners met on Thursday afternoon to declare Community Action Month. Commissioners Matt Aultman, Marshall Combs and Larry Holmes were all present.
The board proclaimed May 2023 as Community Action Month in Darke County.
Since their creation, Community Action Agencies have made an essential contribution to individuals and families in Ohio by providing them with innovative and cost-effective programs.
Welfare reform in Ohio has benefited from the state’s partnership with Community Action Agencies.
Ohio and the entire United States must continue to promote economic security by providing support and opportunities for all citizens in need of assistance, the board proclaimed.
