DARKE COUNTY – Bunco 4 Boobies is a Darke County non-profit that was founded in 2010 by a small group of ladies, when a member of their monthly “Bunco” group was diagnosed with cancer. What was ultimately to be a one-time event to help a friend turned into something greater than we ever imagined possible!
The annual event is hosted at the Greenville Moose Lodge and has sold out every year, with over 300 players.
Our 14th annual event was held on March 22nd at the Moose Lodge in Greenville! The event sold out and our donors stepped up once again and our raffle prizes did not disappoint! We had an amazing spread of donated food that was enjoyed by an electrified room full of men and women who were pumped to get rolling.
During the event, fighters and survivors were recognized and those who we have lost we remembered! There was laughter and there were tears! At the end of the day, we raised a RECORD-SETTING $41,500!!!!
Due to the extreme success of this year’s event, we were able to present the Cancer Association of Darke County with our largest donation of $30,000 to help them in their plight to support cancer patients! Additionally, we were able to provide 13 private donations to local families with a direct need for financial assistance!
Since 2010, we have raised nearly $400,000 to help cancer patients and their families! We continue to be blessed with amazing support and hope to keep Rolling 4 a Cure and making an impact on our community.
