Bringing confidence back: Local woman helps seniors feel beautiful again

DARKE COUNTY – In a cozy, welcoming studio filled with warmth and compassion, Glenna Peck is helping women rediscover something deeply personal—confidence.

As the owner of Crown of Confidence Wigs, Glenna has created more than just a business. She has built a space where women, especially seniors, can feel comfortable, understood, and beautiful again.

With a thoughtfully designed consultation area and a wide variety of wigs to choose from, Glenna offers a personalized, one-on-one experience tailored to each client’s needs. Whether someone is experiencing hair loss due to aging, medical conditions, or simply wants a fresh new look, Glenna approaches every appointment with care, patience, and expertise.

“I want every woman who sits in my chair to feel like herself again—or even better,” Glenna shares. “It’s not just about the wig. It’s about how you feel when you walk out.”

Her studio showcases an array of styles, colors, and textures, making it easy for clients to explore options in a relaxed, no-pressure environment. From modern cuts to classic styles, Glenna helps women find the perfect fit for their lifestyle and personality.

Beyond styling, Glenna is passionate about education. She regularly hosts small group sessions where clients can learn about different wig types, proper care, and styling tips—creating a supportive community where women can connect and feel empowered. For many, the experience is life-changing.

“It’s amazing what a little confidence can do,” Glenna says with a smile. “When women feel good, it shows in everything they do.”

On Friday, May 22 at 11:30 a.m., Glenna will deliver a presentation at the Darke County Senior Center, located at 5844 Jaysville-St. Johns Road in Greenville. During this event, Glenna will provide valuable insights into how wigs can serve as a simple and uplifting solution to promote everyday confidence. There is no cost for members to attend.
