VERSAILLES – At the September 15th FFA Meeting, the Versailles FFA enjoyed a game of softball playing against St Henry FFA, followed by a cookout. The business meeting included Versailles FFA naming seniors Jack Borchers and Jenna Heitkamp as the Versailles FFA Members of the Month.
Jack Borchers, the son of Tim and Jane Borchers, was selected as a September FFA Member of the Month. Jack is a senior and a 5th-year member of Versailles FFA. Jack has participated in monthly meetings, Eagles breakfast, toy drive, shop and crop, canned food drive, fruit sales, omelet breakfast, soup and sandwich social, the ag is cool tent, and poultry days. Jack has participated in the Wildlife and parliamentary procedure CDE. Jack also serves as an FTA for the Versailles Ag Ed Department and has been very instrumental in helping build and design many flower boxes and a variety of shop projects. Jack’s SAE is job placement at Schmitmeyer Dairy Farm. Congratulations to Jack Borchers for being named SAE member of the month. Jack received a t-shirt and a certificate for this honor.
Jenna Heitkamp, the daughter of Matt and Kendra Heitkamp was selected as a September FFA Member of the Month. Jenna is a senior and a 5th-year member of Versailles FFA. Jenna has participated in monthly meetings, Rise and Shine breakfast, toy drive, canned food drive, fruit sales, omelet breakfast, soup and sandwich social, shop and crop, the ag is cool tent, and poultry days. She has participated in the Floriculture CDE online test. Her SAE consists of maintaining a home garden. Congratulations to Jenna Heitkamp for being named SAE member of the month. Jenna received a t-shirt and a certificate for this honor.
