DARKE COUNTY – On Sunday, at approximately 2:40 pm, Darke County Deputies, along with Tri Village Rescue and New Madison Fire, responded to the 800 block of Billman Rd., in reference to a motorcycle accident with injuries.
Preliminary investigation revealed a 1997 Suzuki operated by Brian Cole (56) of New Madison was traveling south on Billman Rd. Cole failed to maintain control of his motorcycle, exiting the road to the left and being ejected from the bike.
Cole was transported to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight with suspected serious injuries. Cole was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident
This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
