GREENVILLE – Spittin’ Image will perform on Thursday, September 3rd in beautiful Greenville City Park from 1 – 3. You can find them at Shelter House #4 (by the horseshoe courts). There’s plenty of parking and picnic tables, but feel free to bring your lawn chair and a friend. Enjoy a carefree afternoon of music and ice cream. This is part of the Celebrate Seniors event. There is no cost to attend nor is there any need to RSVP. There will be door prizes, lots of fun and laughs. It’s always a good time with the Swabb brothers.

Description: Joe Bush will offer chair massage to help reduce stress, ease tension in the neck, shoulders, and back, relieve muscle pain, and improve circulation. Ty Baker Baumann will provide Thai yoga massage, which combines acupressure, assisted yoga-style stretching, rhythmic compression, and mindful breathing. Participants remain fully clothed while seated on a bench or stool as the practitioner guides gentle, flowing movements.
The benefits of these two practices may include improved flexibility, posture, joint mobility, circulation, energy flow, relaxation, body awareness, calmness, and emotional balance, as well as reduced muscle tension, pain, and stress.

Description: Held on the second Friday of each month in the Birchwood Room from 7–10 pm, this evening event is open to families and guests age 16 and older. Barb Roth and Denise Pallivec will lead the fun, with a different focus each month—such as board games, cards, trivia, karaoke, or other activities. Suggestions are welcome, and we encourage you to invite friends and relatives to join you.

Description: Senior cardio drumming is a low-impact, high-energy exercise class that pairs rhythmic drumming with aerobic movement, typically using drumsticks, stability balls, and buckets. It supports cardiovascular health, coordination, and brain function while remaining gentle on the joints. Participants may also do the class seated if preferred. This class will be offered every Monday through November, after which we will evaluate it.
RSVP by 9/7 to join the Road trip to Rob’s restaurant buffet in Brookville, and on to Holdfast Hilty Alpaca & Farm Store outside Medway, OH. Registration by 9/7 is encouraged but not required.

Description: We will meet at the Senior Center at 11 am and carpool to our destinations. Our first stop is Rob’s Restaurant in Brookville, where we’ll enjoy the buffet for $12 in a banquet room reserved for our group. After lunch, we’ll travel about one hour to Holdfast Hilty Alpacas & Farm Store near Medway, Ohio. The $10 tour includes feeding and taking pictures with the alpacas, followed by time to shop for high-quality alpaca products made from the herd’s fleece. We expect to return around 4 pm.
