Hi Darke County!
For more than 18 years as a 4-H advisor, I’ve had the honor of guiding our local youth. One of my greatest blessings has been watching my own children and now my grandchildren, exhibit cattle locally and across the state. Mentoring these kids is a true joy and seeing them carry those lifelong values far beyond the show ring makes every bit of time and investment worth it.
My name is Apollo Perez, and I’m running for the Darke County Fair Board.
Attending Ansonia First Church of God, as a retired ODOT worker and a CDL driver for Drew Ag Transport, my focus is simple: serving our community with dedication, purpose, and hard work.
During my two years on the Fair Board and over 15 years with the Darke County Cattlemen’s Association, I’ve delivered real, practical improvements from securing the cattle wash rack to installing arena fans for the safety and comfort of our livestock and families.
Darke County was built on strong roots, and its future is driven by our youth. By protecting our heritage while making smart upgrades where they matter most, we can build a stronger fair for tomorrow.
