DARKE COUNTY – A 19-year-old male and a juvenile suffered injuries following a Monday morning crash in Darke County.
At approximately 8:22 a.m., crews responded to a reported crash in the 4100 block of Childrens Home Bradford Road. A preliminary investigation revealed that a 2021 Dodge Ram truck was stopped eastbound on Childrens Home Bradford Road because of a mechanical issue.
The driver of the Ram, Cole Royer (19) was struck by an eastbound 2021 Honda Civic.
Royer was transported by CareFlight with serious injuries. His juvenile passenger who was also outside of the truck transported to Wayne HealthCare.
The driver of the Honda Civic was treated at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
