Greenville BPW kicks off 2024-2025 business year

GREENVILLE – The Greenville Business & Professional Women’s (BPW) Club will kick off their 2024-2025 meeting year on Thursday, September 12th at Darke Rural Electric, 1120 Fort Jefferson Road (St RT 121), Greenville. Dinner is optional and starts at 6:30 PM with the program to start at 7 PM. The meeting will be hosted by the Legislative Committee with Chair Gail Snyder and members Deb Niekamp, Vicki Cost and Susan Fowble.

The featured speaker is Amie Purnel-Davis, MA, BSN, RN – Nurse Manager, Primary Care, Purple/WPAFB/Vaccine Clinic. Davis is the Medical Force Development Director of the USAF School of Aerospace at the Dayton VA Medical Center. Amie has studied at Webster University and received a BSN at the University of Arkansas for Medical Services. She is a Military Veteran with a Secret Security Clearance with 20+ years of proven experience in the United States Air Force. The topic is women veterans.

The Greenville BPW Club’s mission is to achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education, and information. The Club holds fundraisers throughout the year to raise money to grant scholarships to Darke County senior high school girls and young women furthering their careers. The Club meets on the second Thursday of every month for a dinner meeting.
