TROY – WOAC Girls track teams competed in the OHSAA DIII Region 12 meet in Troy, Ohio, and four athletes will move on to compete in 6 events at the State Track meet.
Two athletes London Reichert of Ansonia (Pole Vault) and Faith Wooten of Arcanum (Discus) won individual Regional Championships and will compete in two events each at state meet. Tri-Village’s Adalynn Hines and Newton’s Michaela Flora also will compete at the state meet.
The Ansonia Girls Track team finished 8th in the regional with 27 points. Arcanum was 13th, Newton 17th with 13 points, and Tri-Village was 20th with 10 points.
