VERSAILLES – At the May 18th FFA meeting, Versailles FFA recognized Paige Gehret as the new Ohio Association State FFA Vice President with a decorated cake and gift. Versailles FFA also surprised Mrs Wuebker with a retirement cake at the May FFA Meeting. The St. Henry FFA joined us for the meeting, and we held a dodgeball tournament, along with spikeball, cards, and a cookout. At the May FFA meeting, Ethan Wilker, Karmindy Mertz, and Kolt Petijean were named FFA members of the month.

Ethan is a 5th-year member and has been involved in FFA Meetings, Can Food Drive, Toy Drive, Fruit Sales, Ag is Cool Tent, Fall Harvest Sale, Soup and Sandwich Social, and the Wildlife CDE. Ethan is the son of Travis and Caroline Wilker of North Star. Ethan Wilker received a t-shirt and certificate for being named FFA member of the month. Karmindy has been actively involved in the Omelet Breakfast, Soup and Sandwich Social, Can Food Drive, Toy Drive, Fruit Sales, Culver’s Scoop of the Day, Poultry Day’s Parade, Fall Harvest Sale, Shop and Crop, Feed the Farmer, and Tie Blankets. Karmindy is the daughter of Kevin and Beth Mertz of Yorkshire. Karmindy Mertz received a t-shirt and certificate for being named FFA member of the month. Freshman and a 2nd-year member, Kolt Petijean was named May FFA member of the month. Kolt has been actively involved in Farm Day Cleanup, Chicken Dinner, Fruit Sales, Senior Citizens Birthday Party, Meeting, and the Fall Harvest Sale. Kolt has participated in the greenhand quiz career development event. Kolt is the son of Albert and Anne Petitjean of Versailles.
