
SIDNEY – On Saturday, December 7, the Greenville Greenwave wrestlers traveled to Sidney for the annual Jim McCracken Invitational to start their season. Head coach David Guillozet took a total of 17 wrestlers, 3 of which were alternates, and placed overall 2nd as a team out of a total of 11 teams.
Coming in 1st place were the Versailles Tigers with a total of 334 points, Greenville with 207.5, followed by Allen East with a team score of 179.5, Sidney with 167.5, Shawnee with 161, Van Wert with 147, Troy with 89, Northeastern with 27, Meadowdale with 22, Minster with 8, and Stivers with 0.
