GREENVILLE – The Wave varsity boys gold team dropped a 182-183 one-stroke match to the visiting Dixie Greyhounds in non-conference action at Turtle Creek Golf Course.

“Not our best night tonight,” said Greenville coach Brian Stickel. “I know the two seniors were disappointed in their scores.”

Greenville honored its two seniors, Carson Good and Josh Baker.

“Both of these kids are great student-athletes,” Stickel added. “It’s been a pleasure to have them on the team.”

Drew Beisner and Hayden Null each shot a 44 for Greenville, Cole Oswalt finished with a 47, Carson Good carded a 48, and Josh Baker and Brody Weaver both had a 50 for the Green Wave.

“We go back at it tomorrow night (Tuesday, September 17) at Sidney for our final league match.”
