TROY – At approximately 10 a.m. on October 14, Troy Police Officers spotted a wanted fugitive, Zachary Henry (36) who had active warrants for his arrest, driving near E. Main St. and Floral Ave. Henry fled westbound on E. Canal St., but lost control of his vehicle crossing the railroad tracks at a high rate of speed, crashing into the Summit Holiness Tabernacle church at the corner of S. Mulberry St. and E. Canal St.
Henry was transported to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight. No one else was injured, and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
