DARKE COUNTY – Arcanum, Greenville and Versailles competed in the OHSAA sectional wrestling tournament with wrestlers from each school advancing to Districts.
Versailles earned an OSHAA DIII team Sectional Championship with Payton Platfoot (144), Michael Osborn (165) and Kane Epperly (175) each taking first place. Trey Huber (106) placed second for the Tigers. Sam DeLand (113), Isaac Brown (120), Lane Bergman (132) and Ethan Stover (190) each placed third to advance to districts. Emmit Demange (126), Luke Batty (138), Quentin Grillot (150) and Joel Gehret (215) rounded out Versailles’ wresters making it out of sectionals to advance to district.

OHSAA district tournaments are scheduled for March 3rd and 4th with Greenville traveling to Wilmington High School for the DII meet and Versailles and Arcanum wrestling at Troy’s Hobart Arena in DIII competition.
