VERSAILLES – The Versailles Tigers bounced back from last week’s heartbreaking loss with a 43-7 victory over the Parkway Panthers. The Tigers scored on a two-play drive to start the game on a one-yard run by Landyn Knapke. A bad snap had Ethan Wilker take off and score for the two-point conversion.

“Pretty happy with the way the offense came out,” Coach Ryan Jones said. “A lot of that, though, was coming off the defense, getting quick three-and-outs.”

“The Tigers’ reserve players would play most of the second half. With a running clock, Versailles took 9:38 seconds off the clock and scored on an 18-yard run by Blake Monnin to take a 43-0 lead. The Panthers would score with 7:16 left in the game to make the final 43-7.
