VERSAILLES – Versailles FFA members Nick Gehret, Zac Bartram and Zander Keller have qualified as one of the top 12 teams in the state of Ohio to compete in the State FFA Ag Mechanics Engineering Contest. Zac, Nick and Zander will compete in May at the State FFA Convention and will weld a trailer onsite.
In order to qualify for state in late January, Nick, Zac and Zander turned in a portfolio that contained information related to designing a trailer including the motivation behind the project, bill of materials, cut list, design process, blue prints, tool list, cost and steps in order to complete the project. A special thank you to Adam Miller for the use of technology and assisting with designing the blueprint.
This is the first year for Versailles FFA to participate in this career development event. Good luck at State!
