KETTERING – The Versailles Lady Tigers punched its ticket to the OHSAA DIII Final Four by defeating the Cincinnati Summit Country Day Lady Nighthawks 3-0 at Kettering’s Trent Arena to earn its first Regional Championship since 2018.
The Lady Tigers jumped out to an early lead taking the opening set 25-13 and earning a 25-12 second set win to lead 2-0 on the day.
Versailles made it a 3-0 day with a 25-11 third set win to earn the sweep over the Cincinnati school.
The Lady Tigers will take on the state’s No. 1 ranked Mentor Lake Catholic at the Wright State Nutter Center, Thursday, Nov. 10 with a 4 p.m. start time.
