VERSAILLES – A new activity for the 2025-2026 school year for the Versailles FFA is a program entitled Companions. As part of Companions, Versailles FFA will make monthly visits to Mrs. White’s and Mrs Bartram’s classrooms.
The Companions Committee recently had the opportunity to visit classrooms for students with diverse abilities, where they facilitated an engaging and educational session. This committee consists of members Abby Henry, Margaret Schmitmeyer, Brooke Bergman, Lucy Schmitmeyer, Jena Heitkamp, Gracie Henry, Brooke Keiser, and Paige Gehret. During the December visit, the committee members introduced the students to pine and Christmas flowers, guiding them through a hands-on exploration of their various parts.
This lesson was followed by a creative activity in which the students were supported in designing and assembling their own floral arrangements with Christmas flowers as the main emphasis. The students were able to take the Christmas arrangements home.
