VERSAILLES – Supervised Agricultural Events(SAE) are projects taken on by all FFA members. The SAE committee selected 2 SAEs to present as SAE Members of the Month for the December 15th meeting that were considered outstanding, and they received a shirt and certificate. The 2 FFA members chosen were Eden Barga and Maverick Keller.
Eden Barga is a senior and a five-year member. Her SAE is entrepreneurship, where she milks goats, then sells the milk to vendors at farmers’ markets. She also sells products at the Fall Harvest sale. Eden is the daughter of Gwen and Michael Barga. Congrats to Eden Barga for being this month’s SAE member of the month.
Maverick Keller is a freshman and a two-year member. His SAE is a job placement where he works at Heckman Family Farms. His responsibilities include milking, feeding calves, cleaning the free stall barn, and assisting with farm chores. Maverick is the son of Nicole and Jon Keller.
Congratulations to Maverick Keller for being selected as December’s SAE member of the month.
