VERSAILLES – The Versailles FFA recently completed its final monthly Companions visit for the 2025–2026 school year. The Companions program, introduced this year, involved monthly visits to the classrooms of Mrs. White and Mrs. Bartram, creating opportunities for students to connect through hands-on activities and meaningful interaction.
During the final visit, the Companions Committee worked with students with diverse abilities to create spring floral mug designs while also learning about spring agriculture. Throughout the school year, activities included pine arrangements, Valentine’s Day floral designs, St. Patrick’s Day-themed floral projects, and more.
The program provided valuable educational experiences for all students involved while helping foster lasting relationships between the groups.
Special thanks were extended to Mrs. Bartram and Mrs. White for welcoming the program into their classrooms, as well as committee co-chairs Margaret Schmitmeyer and Gracie Henry for organizing engaging and educational activities throughout the year.
Committee members included Abby Henry, Margaret Schmitmeyer, Brooke Bergman, Lucy Schmitmeyer, Jena Heitkamp, Gracie Henry, Brooke Keiser, and Paige Gehret.
