The Crowing Coops 4-H Club had a fun meeting on May 18th at Cindy’s home. The pledges were led by Judd Yohey and Lillian Hawkins. We held our regular business meeting and Cash Bubeck gave the safety report. He talked to us about staying safe during storms and what to do if bad weather happens.
After the meeting, Lux Bubeck gave a really cool demonstration showing us how to blow up a balloon using baking soda and white vinegar. Everyone thought it was awesome to watch!
Then Lillian Hawkins gave a demonstration on how to make fruit kabobs. She passed them out for everyone to try, and they were very tasty.
Next, we counted off in numbers and worked at different skillathon stations to learn more about poultry and 4-H projects.
The business meeting was adjourned at 8:07 p.m. Our next meeting will be on June 22 at 6:30 p.m. at Shawnee Prairie.
