TROY – Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley (GESMV) is celebrating the season by hosting a Valentine’s Dance for individuals with developmental disabilities.

On Thursday, February 12th, Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley (GESMV), will host a Valentine’s Dance for individuals with developmental disabilities. Over 100 participants in adult day support programs across several counties have been invited to celebrate together.
Emily Lewis, Community Outreach Coordinator for GESMV said, “The Valentine’s Day dance is one of our most anticipated events of the year. Our program participants are always excited to dress up and party with their friends.”
“We love creating fun opportunities for individuals to socialize in new environments, because it’s part of our vision for a community where everyone can belong, contribute, and thrive.” Said Allison Underwood, Director of Community Support Services for Developmental Disabilities at GESMV.
The Valentine’s Day dance will include a catered lunch, games, crafts, and of course dancing. The event is free for individuals with developmental disabilities, but registration is required via https://forms.office.com/r/DfBtSDU7hx.
Registrants are not required to be currently enrolled with Goodwill to attend.
Any individuals, caregivers, and SSAs are welcome to join the celebration.
