GREENVILLE – Troy Sunshade, located at 607 Riffle Avenue in Greenville, is producing 100 percent American-made commemorative flags honoring the nation’s 250th birthday.

“It’s our nation’s 250th birthday, so we decided to make some commemorative 250th flags celebrating the 250th year of our country,” said John Baumgardner of Troy Sunshade.

The limited-time commemorative flags are available for purchase at Troy Sunshade, 607 Riffle Avenue, Greenville, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Customers may pick up the flags at the business.

“We have them ready to go,” Baumgardner said.

Baumgardner noted the company plans to produce the flags for the next couple of months and then evaluate demand.

“It is a limited time, so we are going to make them for the next couple of months and see how well they sell,” he said.

The 3-by-5 commemorative flags sell for $49 each.

“The flags are one hundred percent American-made,” said Baumgardner. “Every stitch, everything on the flag from the grommet to printing, everything is made in the USA.”

A commemorative flag is currently on display in the window of MyCountyLink, 345 Martin Street, Greenville.
