DARKE COUNTY – The Darke County Commissioners’ March 26, 2026, regular meeting started at 9:30 p.m. with Commissioners Aultman and Combs present. The Commissioners then approved the minutes from March 24th.
The Examination and Allowance of bills dated March 26th were presented. The General Fund amount was $36,021.58, and the Outside General Funds were $202,904.63, for a total of $238,926.11. They were approved.
A Fund Advance Back for Darke County Grants for $5,500 was approved as payback for previous advances.
The Treasurer’s Office entered into a contract with F&E Payment Pros to automate the posting of payments and the depositing of funds paid by check. This process will further enhance and simplify the payment collection process. The total amount for the equipment is $21,685.00 and annual licensing will cost $8,300.00 a year and was approved.
A new Hangar Wi-Fi and Security system with Doss Business Systems and Garber Connect presenting quotes for the new system. Both quotes were accepted and will be reviewed.
The Commissioners accepted a purchase contract for the property at 115 West Fifth Street in Greenville. JAB Rentals received the award by bidding $40,001.00 dollars. The Purchase price is payable before April 2nd, 2026.
The Darke County Sheriff had four requests, and the Common Pleas Court presented one expense request. The Sheriff requested $895.00 to attend a Less Lethal Instructor Certification Course for Stephen Cox. The second for David Hawes to attend the E-Band Restrictor Instructor Certification course for $995.00. The third for Gregory Fourman to attend a Trauma and Critical Care update at Sinclair Community College May 1st for $95.00, and for Rachael Prickett to do an online webinar for Google Data
Analysis for Investigators. The cost is $175.00. Common Pleas Court asked for $2,508.76 for Tracey Drew and Amanda Mote to attend the OACA Spring Conference in Toledo May 6th– 8th, 2026. All were approved.
