Tri-Village celebrates homecoming with win over Arcanum

NEW MADISON – Tri-Village defeated Arcanum in football action Friday night 43-0 and also celebrated homecoming with the crowning of a king and queen.

The homecoming court was as follows; freshman attendants Griffin Richards, Zoey Ayette, sophomore attendants Trey Sagester, Aereonna Baker, junior attendants Lane Bierly, Reagan Brewer, senior king court Reed Wehr, Brayden Keating, Paul Brewer, Tanner Prince, Brock Durst and senior queen court Natalie Seiber, Macy Howell, Kiersten Wilcox, Nataleigh Koontz and Bella Black.

Brayden Keating and Macy Howell were crowned 2023 Tri-Village king and queen.

Keating would then go on to help the Patriots along with the rest of the king court on the field in their rivalry game with Arcanum.

Keating threw a touchdown pass to Tanner Printz in the first quarter while Reed Wehr scooped up and returned a fumble for a score and also had two rushing TDs all in the first quarter to go up on the Trojans 27-0.

Tri-Village got a 37-yard field goal in the second quarter from King Keating and then scored one more time before the end of the first half in a beef set with lineman Seth Jesse plowing his way in from two-yards out for a TD to give the Patriots a 36-0 lead at the half.

Senior Jayden Hollinger who has been outstanding on defense all season long added one more score in the second half for Tri-Village rushing one in from two yards out to complete the game scoring for the 43-0 win.
