The Darke County Solid Waste Management District and 1 Shot Services are happy to announce the Annual T-Shirt Contest for Trash Bash 2024.
There are several things that you will need to know to participate in the contest.
Contest Rules and Regulations:
- The designs must be in black and white only. Any color designs will not be accepted.
- The design will only be on the front of the t-shirt.
- The design must include a trash pick-up or environmental theme.
- The design must not exceed 8.5″ X 11″.
- The contest is open to all participants in grades 5 -12.
- All designs must include the words ‘Darke County Trash Bash 2024.’
- All artwork must be submitted camera-ready and become the property of Darke County Solid Waste Management District. The winner must agree to have their artwork reproduced on the Trash Bash t-shirt for all participants.
- All artwork must be clean and have an appropriate design. (Appropriateness will be judged at the discretion of the Darke County Waste Management District and the Policy Committee.
- All designs must be submitted to the Darke County Solid Waste Management District office at 684 Wagner Ave, Suite C, Greenville, OH, 45331, no later than 4 pm on or before January 28, 2024. No entries will be taken after this date in fairness to all participants.
- Original artwork will not be returned.
- Winners will be contacted by phone and by mail.
- The design must be in the student’s own artwork and submitted with their name, address, phone number, and parents’ name and organization affiliation.
Prizes (donated by 1 Shot Services):
1st place will receive $150 cash and their design on the 2023 Trash Bash t-shirt.
2nd place will receive $100 cash.
3rd place will receive $50 cash.
