GREENVILLE – Greenville welcomed Topsy Turvy Toys to Downtown Greenville with a Wednesday afternoon ribbon-cutting ceremony at the business’s location at 436 S. Broadway.
“I wish these folks well,” said Greenville Mayor Jeff Whitaker. “A lot of people are excited to have a toy store downtown. I wish them a lot of success.”

Cathi Hall, owner/operator, opened the first Topsy Turvy Toys in June 2007 and added a second location, Topsy Turvy Toys 2 in Tipp City, on June 1, 2018, to bring “exponential” fun to the city.
“Greenville picked us,” Hall said of their choice to add a store in Greenville. “Our customers Ed and Cathy Cornell had been driving to Tipp City, and we were looking for a space, and they offered one.”
Topsy Turvy Toys belongs to ASTRA, a national specialty toy store organization.
“We carry things that big box stores can’t get, or we get exclusives they aren’t able to,” Hall noted, “so we are not selling the same things as Walmart.”
Hall shared their motto, ‘Play Matters.’ “No matter what stage of life, come and play and have fun while you’re here,” she said.

Cathy Konnicki is the manager of the new Greenville location.
“Cathy has been working with me as a team member for over five years,” said Hall. “She is investing her time here in Greenville.”
Topsy Turvy is for all ages, from birth to retirement age, focusing on middle age.
“We have a lot of things for second grade to sixth grade so that play can help with their development,” Hall said.
Hall is pleased to have a new location in Downtown Greenville, Ohio.
“The downtown neighborhood has been so welcoming,” Hall concluded.
