2 arrested after discovery of drugs during traffic stop

UNION CITY – The Union City Police Department is pleased to announce the arrest of Tabitha St. Myers and Jamie Hiestand following a traffic stop on North Howard Street.

During the stop, our K9 Blaise conducted a free air sniff of their vehicle and alerted officers to the presence of illegal substances. A subsequent search led to the discovery of methamphetamine and gabapentin pills.

Tabitha St. Myers and Jamie Hiestand were taken into custody and are now housed in the Randolph County Sheriff’s Jail.
