TIPP CITY- The City of Tipp City, Ohio, seeks qualified applicants for the position of City Planner/Zoning Administrator.

Under the direction of the Community Development Director, this position is responsible for: the administration, interpretation, and enforcement of the Tipp City Zoning Code and other relevant codes.

Additional responsibilities include the administration of city nuisance ordinances, field inspections, drafting of ordinances, and the administration of various municipal board meetings.

Qualifications include:  Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Urban Design, Public Administration, or a closely related field; two to four years of experience in planning, urban design, or development review; or, any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work. Excellent oral & written communication skills are essential.

Must possess a valid State of Ohio Driver’s License. Certification with the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) is a plus.

The pay scale for this position is up to $3,057.60 bi-weekly, with excellent fringe benefits.
